How we helped...
The boys at System Feedback approached us in the Autumn of 2019 to produce the artwork and a large format advertising campaign for one of their legendary events in Bristol.
Paying homage to the Unknown sound system, which is an absolute beast of a setup, we decided to retrace and illustrate the crew’s Void speaker stack, which has become famous throughout the UK and European rave scene. This was layered with rough textures and symbols to create the industrial and gritty aesthetic that is synonymous with the brand.
The poster campaign took on a similar tone, with chopped up typographic elements and repetitive shapes used to represent the predominately 4×4 music that is showcased at the events. The crew were full of praise for the finished result, with one of the lead promoters commenting that it was some of the best artwork they’ve had.
